ACTIVITIES
Loreto
is on the eastern coast of the Baja peninsula and is surrounded by
the Sierra Giganta (mountains of the giants), one of the most rugged
and spectacular parts of the peninsula. Visit the nearby islands of
Coronado, Carmen, Danzante, and Monserate hosting sea lion colonies,
white sandy beaches and the best kayaking, diving, snorkeling and
fishing in the Sea of Cortez and the North Pacific. Visit quaint
mountain villages, beautiful white sandy beaches, see ancient cave
paintings, or sit by the pool or beach and relax. Boat, kayak, car
and bicycle rentals are available.
Loreto is blessed with virtually perfect climate, an average of 360
days of sunshine a year and an annual mean temperature of 24ºC or
75ºF.
Loreto Bay
has a championship 18 hole golf course, a tennis club with 8 courts,
many restaurants and shopping facilities.
